or enjoying the many historic and natural sights of the area. Located on approximately one acre of mostly wooded, riverfront land, you're free to relax and enjoy, leaving the cares of the world behind.
Renovated in early 2011, the cottage has three bedrooms, two full baths, and
can accommodate up to six persons.
Guests have complete access to a full kitchen, living / dining room, and a covered front porch. There
is an easy path down to the river and swimming hole, and lots of outdoor spaces where you can soak in the sun or just sit, relax and drink in the beauty.
The lodge is located at the confluence on the Rock and West Rivers, just 2 miles south of the charming, historic, and quintessentially Vermont village of Newfane; 9 miles northwest
of Brattleboro, southeastern Vermont's cultural center; and immediately adjacent to the
Rock River, popular with locals and tourists alike for its lovely hiking trail and several crystal clear swimming holes.
By car the cottage is 4 hours from New York and Montreal, 2.5 hours from Boston, and 1.5 hours from Hartford.
